While a majority of our projects exhibit common threads throughout the design process, there are always unique aspects. There are no “cookie-cutter” solutions for any project. Each project requires a complete assessment of all relevant components during the conceptual design phase. Part of our design process includes critical evaluation of the information we’ve gathered and how the program and site location interact.
All projects receive intense design, documentation, and construction administration attention from the assigned Principal-in-Charge. As the project approaches design and documentation milestones, documents and drawings are reviewed by other principals acting as proof readers. This built-in quality assurance / quality control program is further bolstered by the competent and properly trained personnel at HJM Architects. It is our goal to not produce errors, rather than find and rectify them later. This team approach to quality control is a standard procedure for HJM which has resulted in fewer drawing errors and more efficient production.
