Senior Interior Designer Wanted:

At HJM, we design more than spaces—we craft experiences. We’re looking for a Senior Interior Designer to lead projects that push the boundaries of creativity and functionality. If you have at least 6 years of experience, love working in diverse markets, and excel in Revit, this role is for you! You’ll be hands-on, managing both integrated and purely interior design projects while mentoring the next generation of designers.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with architects and consultants, ensuring that interior designs not only look amazing but also work seamlessly within the broader project. You’ll get to flex your skills in everything from client presentations to construction documents, playing a key part in the full lifecycle of each project. Expect to create detailed interior construction documents, conceptual plans, and 3D renderings, while also managing junior designers and reviewing shop drawings.
We’re Looking for:
A master of Revit (AutoCAD, Enscape, Photoshop, Canva, and SketchUp are bonuses)
Someone who thrives on multiple styles and price points, with great taste and problem-solving savvy
Experience working in commercial architecture firms
Proficiency in creating complete interior packages, including finishes, FF&E, and design presentations
NCIDQ certification or the pursuit of certification is a plus
The ability to manage timelines, budgets, and multitask while mentoring others

Do you have the vision to guide complex architectural projects from concept to completion, and the passion to lead a creative team? HJM is looking for a Project Manager to spearhead our architectural projects, ensuring seamless execution from construction documentation to construction administration. With at least 6 years of experience, you’ll collaborate with clients, consultants, and authorities while mentoring younger staff and pushing creative boundaries.
In this role, you’ll manage diverse projects—commercial, healthcare, residential—balancing design, planning, and hands-on leadership. You’ll mentor our next generation of creatives while diving deep into the details that make each project unique and successful.
What We’re Looking For:
Revit expertise (Word, Teams, and Outlook are part of your toolbox)
A natural leader with a strong communication style, ready to tackle client challenges
Experience across multiple markets, with the ability to pivot when needed
Designing Your New Role: As Project Manager, you will oversee architectural projects from start to finish, including construction document preparation, permit submittals, and site visits. You’ll also review shop drawings, manage junior staff, and ensure successful project coordination.
Develop conceptual plans, detailed construction documents, and project schedules
Lead project coordination, manage timelines, schedules, and budgets
Research and specify materials, finishes, and equipment that align with project goals and budget constraints
Oversee client presentations, ensuring alignment with design intent and practical considerations
Mentor junior team members and manage project reviews to ensure quality control
Showcase Your Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in architecture or related field
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Word, Teams, Outlook, and other design/project management software
Ability to lead, mentor, multitask, and communicate effectively with clients and teams
A keen eye for detail and a passion for staying up to date with industry trends and materials
