HJM Architects crafted two distinctive homes for UCB Properties, developed as speculative residences and later sold to private buyers.

Situated in an enclave of professionally designed homes on the southeast side of Kansas City's downtown area, these two residences offer a blend of modern aesthetics and functional design. 2427 Forest Ave. showcases a sculptural approach with randomly placed slats in the wooden partitions, adding a unique touch to the home's design. Meanwhile, 2431 Forest Ave. shares the same floor plan but has a different grey and stained wooden exterior design, providing individuality while maintaining consistency in layout and functionality.
